Campaign Stuck on “Creating” Status

In some cases, campaigns may remain stuck on a “Creating” status and do not progress to active delivery. This is usually caused by a sync or processing issue between Properti and Meta Ads Manager.

You may notice one or more of the following:

  • Campaign status remains on “Creating” for an extended period
  • Campaign does not go live
  • No impressions or delivery activity are recorded
  • Campaign remains pending despite successful setup

Common Causes

This issue may occur due to:

  • Campaign creation not fully completing
  • Temporary sync or processing delays
  • Meta processing delays during high-traffic periods
  • The ad creative being identified as unchanged during retries
  • Workspace connection or publishing delays

Solution Steps

Step 1: Open the Campaign in Your Workspace

  1. Navigate to the affected campaign within your workspace
  2. Confirm the campaign settings and creative have loaded correctly
  3. Check whether the campaign still shows a “Creating” status

Step 2: Edit the Campaign Creative

To force the campaign back into processing, making a small adjustment to the creative often helps trigger a refresh.

To do this:

  1. Click Edit on the affected campaign
  2. Select the campaign creative
  3. Make a minor text adjustment to the ad copy
    • Example:
      • Add an emoji
      • Add or remove a word
      • Slightly rephrase a sentence
  4. Save the campaign

This helps avoid the platform treating the campaign as an unchanged duplicate and can trigger the processing state again.


Step 3: Refresh the Campaign Status

  1. Refresh the page after approximately 5–10 seconds
  2. Return to the campaign dashboard
  3. Check whether the status updates from “Creating” to Active

Please allow a few minutes for the campaign status to fully update.


Step 4: Duplicate the Campaign (If Issue Persists)

If the campaign still remains stuck:

  1. Duplicate the campaign within the workspace
  2. Review all campaign settings
  3. Launch the duplicated version
  4. Archive the original campaign if no longer required

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Allow several minutes after saving changes before refreshing
  • Avoid rapidly editing or relaunching the campaign multiple times
  • Ensure all required campaign fields are completed
  • Double-check that the creative and copy save successfully
  • Refresh the browser if the campaign status does not immediately update

  • Campaign name
  • Workspace name
  • Screenshot of the campaign status
  • Approximate time the campaign was created or edited

This will help the team investigate the processing issue further.
