Campaign Stuck on “Creating” Status

In some cases, campaigns may remain stuck on a “Creating” status and do not progress to active delivery. This is typically caused by a sync issue between Properti and Meta Ads Manager.

Problem

You may notice:

  • Campaign status shows “Creating” for an extended period
  • Campaign does not go live
  • Campaign appears turned off in Ads Manager
  • No delivery or impressions are recorded

Common Causes

  • Sync delay between Properti and Meta Ads Manager
  • Campaign toggle mismatch (off in Ads Manager, on in Properti)
  • Initial campaign creation did not fully complete
  • Platform delay during high processing periods

Solution Steps

Step 1: Check Ads Manager

  • Log in to your Meta Ads Manager
  • Locate the affected campaign
  • Confirm whether the campaign is switched ON

Step 2: Turn Campaign ON in Ads Manager

  • If the campaign is OFF:
    • Toggle it ON manually
    • Wait a few minutes and refresh Properti

Step 3: Refresh Campaign Status in Properti

  • Return to Properti
  • Refresh the campaign dashboard
  • Check if status updates from “Creating” to Active

Step 4: Duplicate Campaign (If Issue Persists)

  • Duplicate the campaign in Properti
  • Archive the original version
  • Ensure all settings are correct before launching

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Allow a few minutes for sync after making changes in Ads Manager
  • Avoid rapidly toggling campaigns on/off
  • Double-check ad account permissions and connectivity
  • Ensure there are no rejected ads within the campaign
