Workspace: Create a Custom Carousel from Manual Upload

The article below is a guide to creating a custom carousel for manually uploading creatives from your PC or alternative storage location.

You can create a swipe through carousel for Facebook in Properti for your listings, reviews or creating a manual carousel where you can upload images from your PC/Drive/Canva. This feature is available under the Creatives Tab > New Creative > Advanced.

Key Steps:

  1. Go to the Creative tab.
  2. Click on the orange "New Creative" button.
  3. Under the "Advanced" options, select "Manual" (options available for listing carousel or review carousel).
  4. Click on "Browse Images" and upload the relevant creatives for the carousel.
    ⚠️  You can only upload 3 images at a time, with a max. of 10 images in total ⚠️ 
  5. Once all of the relevant creatives have been uploaded, select all the images so they are ticked.

  6. Click on the first image and change any of the Title/Description or any other information in the side drawer that's relevant to this carousel
    ⚠️ The Title, Description, Call to Action button and landing page link will display on the carousel when published ⚠️ 

  7. Repeat step 6 for each image.

  8. Click Next
  9. Enter the creative name the same as the title of the images *displayed publicly
  10. Enter in the ad description *displayed publicly
  11. Enter in the link and caption link *displayed publicly
  12. Unselect "Optimise the order?" if you would like the carousel to be shown in the exact order you have selected.
  13. Create the carousel.
  14. Review in the Creatives Tab and schedule the carousel for posting.

Cautionary Notes:

  • Ensure the correct images are selected.
  • Double-check the templates and settings before creating the carousel.
  • Avoid posting the carousel prematurely without proper review.
