Why you might not see your own ads on Facebook. 👀

Facebook’s algorithm decides who sees your ad based on your campaign’s targeting, budget, and performance objectives. Just because you don’t see it in your own feed doesn’t mean the ad isn’t active or effective.

In fact, it’s usually a good sign. It means your ad is being shown to the audience you’re actually trying to reach — like buyers, sellers, or people actively engaging with property content — instead of internal staff or other agents.

Unless you’re specifically included in the audience targeting (e.g. through detailed interest or location targeting), Facebook has no reason to show the ad to you. This helps maximise your ad spend and ensures your campaign reaches the right people.

Boosted posts behave differently from Properti campaigns — here’s how. ✅

If you’ve previously boosted posts directly through Facebook or Instagram, you may have noticed your ads showing up in your own feed. That’s because boosts are simple and often show content to broad audiences — including Page followers like yourself.

Properti campaigns work differently.

They’re full advertising campaigns built with Meta’s Ads Manager behind the scenes. These campaigns, set up by you, can include advanced targeting, optimisation, and tracking tools, like Meta Pixel and dynamic audience matching — to make sure your budget is spent only on people who are likely to take action (like buyers or sellers).

So if you’re not seeing your own ad anymore, that’s actually a good thing. It means your ad dollars are being spent on the right people, not internal staff or followers.

Want to preview your ad? Just head to your Properti campaign dashboard -> Click into the Campaign -> Click on Meta and then View Ad.
