How to Change the Image Used in Listing Creative
This article explains how Properti selects listing images for creatives and how to update the hero image used in automations and scheduled posts.
How Listing Images Are Selected
Properti pulls all listing images directly from your connected CRM feed.
The system automatically uses the first image in the CRM listing as the hero image for:
- Scheduled posts
- Automations (e.g. Just Listed, Sold, Leased)
- Generated creatives
Important Information
- Images cannot be manually changed within Properti once a creative has been generated
- Image selection is controlled entirely by the order in your CRM
- The first image in your CRM listing will always be used as the hero image
How to Ensure the Correct Image Is Used
If you want a specific photo (for example, the front of the property) to appear in your creatives:
- Open the listing in your CRM
- Reorder the images so your preferred photo is set as Image 1
- Ensure this is done before the automation or creative is generated
Example
If a listing is set to trigger a “Just Listed” automation, the system will pull Image 1 from the CRM at the time of generation.
If Image 1 is changed after the creative has already been generated, the existing creative will not update automatically.
Troubleshooting
If the wrong image is appearing:
- Check the image order in your CRM listing
- Confirm the correct hero image is set as Image 1
- Allow time for the CRM to sync with Properti
- Regenerate the creative if needed
Summary
Properti uses your CRM as the source of truth for listing images. Ensuring the correct hero image is set as Image 1 will ensure your creatives display the right property image.
