Connecting Your LinkedIn Company Page

To connect your LinkedIn Company Page with Properti, you’ll first need to ensure you have the correct setup on LinkedIn.

 

🔹 Important: LinkedIn Connections in Properti
There are two types of LinkedIn connections you can make in Properti:

  • Company Page (Office): Connects your agency’s official LinkedIn business page for company-wide posting.

  • Personal Profile (Agent): Connects an individual’s LinkedIn account for personal branding and agent-specific posting.

This article covers Company Page (Office) connections.

Why a Personal Profile is Required

LinkedIn requires a personal profile to create and manage a Company Page. This is because:

  • Personal profiles verify identity and ownership.

  • Page creators automatically become the first page administrator.

  • Administrators can assign additional roles to other LinkedIn members.

⚠️ You cannot create a LinkedIn Company Page without a personal profile. This ensures authenticity and security across the platform.

How to Create a LinkedIn Company Page

Step 1: Add a Company

  1. Click the Work icon in the top-right corner of your LinkedIn homepage.

  2. Select Create a Company Page (at the bottom of the dropdown menu).

  3. Choose your page type:

    • Small business

    • Medium to large business

    • Educational institution

  4. Enter your company’s official name and select a unique public URL.

Step 2: Complete Your Company Page

  1. Add your company details and description – include your mission, services, and relevant keywords to make your page discoverable.

  2. Upload a high-quality logo (square format) and cover image.

  3. Enter your company website, size, industry, and company type (e.g., public, non-profit).

  4. Provide your business address.

  5. Click Create Page.

Step 3: Connect Your Company Page to Properti

  1. Log out of LinkedIn in your browser.

  2. Log in to your Properti account.

  3. Go to the Apps tab and select LinkedIn.

  4. Click Connect and follow the prompts.

Once you log in with the LinkedIn credentials tied to your Company Page, Properti will connect successfully. You’ll see a confirmation message with your company name displayed.
