Posting and Scheduling from Properti
This outlines the process for efficiently posting and scheduling content across different channels using Properti.
By following these steps, you can streamline your content management and ensure timely, organized posts across platforms.
Key Steps:
1. Go to Posts
- Log in to your Properti platform.
- Navigate to the Posts section, where you can manage and create new content.
2. Click on the "New Post" Button
- On the top right-hand side of the Posts page, click on the New Post button to begin creating your post.
3. Select the Channel to Post To
- Choose the channel where you want to publish your post (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Tip: Start with one channel to avoid duplicating content across platforms.
4. Choose the Post Type
- Select the appropriate post type based on your content (e.g., Feed, Story, etc.).
- Make sure the post type is suitable for the platform you’ve chosen (e.g., Feed for Instagram or LinkedIn).
5. Input Text and Upload Creative Assets
- Input the text for your post (e.g., caption, description, hashtags).
- To upload creative assets, click on the paperclip icon to add images, videos, or other media files.
- Tip: Use high-quality images or videos to ensure your post looks professional and engaging.
6. Crop or Edit the Uploaded Content
- Once you’ve uploaded the content, crop or make any necessary changes to fit the platform’s specifications.
- Adjust image dimensions, apply filters, or crop out any irrelevant portions.
7. Add Additional Uploads (If Needed)
- If you need to upload more assets (e.g., additional images or a video), click the paperclip icon again and repeat the process.
- Ensure that all assets align with the message of your post.
8. Add the Post to Instagram (Optional)
- If you want the post to go to Instagram as well, click on the Instagram icon.
- This will add Instagram as a secondary channel for the post.
- Ensure that the post fits Instagram’s format (e.g., dimensions, character limits, etc.).
9. Add Post to Other Connected Channels (If Desired)
- If you want to publish the same post across multiple channels, select additional channels by clicking on their respective icons (e.g., Facebook, Twitter).
- Tip: Avoid posting identical content on multiple channels at the same time without adjusting it to each platform's requirements.
10. Categorize the Post
- Categorize the post by selecting a category (e.g., generic post, agent-specific, property-specific).
- This helps keep your posts organized and easily accessible for later use.
11. Use the Calendar to Schedule the Post
- Use the calendar feature to schedule the post for a specific date and time.
- This allows you to plan content ahead of time and avoid last-minute publishing.
- Tip: Review your content calendar regularly to stay on top of your posting schedule.
12. Name the Post for Easy Reference
- Give your post a clear name (e.g., "Spring Sale Post for Instagram").
- This will help you quickly find and reference the post later on, especially when managing multiple campaigns.
13. Save or Schedule the Post
- You can either:
- Save the post as a draft for further review or edits.
- Schedule the post to be published at the designated date and time.
Cautionary Notes:
- Content Appropriateness: Ensure that the content is appropriate for each selected platform. Each platform has its own set of guidelines regarding content format, tone, and image/video quality.
- Double-Check the Date and Time: Before scheduling, double-check the date and time to ensure the post is set for the correct time zone and to avoid any posting errors.
- Asset Formatting: Make sure all uploaded creative assets are properly formatted (e.g., aspect ratio, size) and aligned with the intended platform’s requirements to avoid issues when posting.
Tips for Efficiency:
- Duplicate Feature: Use the duplicate feature to save time when posting the same content across different channels. Once a post is created, you can duplicate it and modify it slightly for each additional platform.
- Connected Channels: Ensure all relevant channels (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) are connected to Properti to streamline the posting process and avoid having to manually upload to each platform separately.
- Content Calendar: Use the calendar feature to organize and schedule posts in advance. This will help you maintain a consistent posting schedule and ensure timely content delivery.
- Save Drafts for Team Review: If you’re working with a team, save posts as drafts before scheduling to allow team members to review and provide feedback. This ensures the quality and accuracy of your content.
