Understanding “Sold” Automations
The “Sold” automation in Properti automatically publishes a post to your connected social media accounts when a property is marked as sold. This helps agencies announce sales quickly and consistently, without needing to create a manual post.
How It Works
-
Trigger Points
-
The automation checks the property’s status from your CRM/portal feed.
-
There are only two available triggers related to the end of a campaign:
-
Under Contract/Offer
-
Sold
-
-
-
Timing
-
The “Sold” trigger is based on the contract signed date, not settlement.
-
This aligns with realestate.com.au (REA) and other major portals, which mark a property as sold when the contract is signed.
-
-
Publishing
-
Once triggered, the automation publishes to the connected social media channels according to the template you’ve selected.
-
The property is posted only once per trigger (e.g. once for “Sold”), not repeatedly.
-
Creative & Template Options
-
Properti offers standard “Sold” templates that automatically pull in property details.
-
You can now choose templates that include agent details (name, photo, and contact information) at the bottom of the creative.
-
To update your automation to use a different template:
-
Go to Automations in your Properti workspace.
-
Select your “Sold” automation.
-
Click Edit Creative and choose from the available templates.
-
Save changes to apply the new design.
-
Best Practices
-
Be consistent – if a property is marked as sold on REA (and your website), it should also be marked as sold on socials.
-
Check your templates – make sure the correct template (with or without agent details) is selected so your posts match your brand style.
-
Review after posting – posts can be edited or removed on the social platform if adjustments are needed.
Troubleshooting Tips
-
If your “Sold” post didn’t publish, check:
-
The property was marked as Sold in your CRM/portal.
-
The automation is active in Properti.
-
A valid template is selected.
-
Your social accounts are connected in Properti.
-
-
If posts are appearing “too early” (before settlement), remember this is based on the contract signed date. To delay, adjust when you update the property status in your CRM.
