Sending review requests

How to ask past clients for reviews from Properti by email, SMS, QR code or shareable link, and how automatic follow-ups work.

Written by Cameron Vaea

Ways to request a review

Properti gives you four ways to ask for a review. Availability depends on your plan.

  • Email: send a branded request straight from Properti.

  • SMS: send a text with your review link. SMS allowances vary by plan, and you can see your remaining allowance in the app.

  • QR code: open QR code request in the Reviews menu to download a QR code that opens your review page. Great for print, signboards and events.

  • Shareable link: copy your review page link and use it anywhere.

Sending a request

  1. Go to Reviews and choose Requests, then Request a review.

  2. Add the recipient's name and their email address or mobile number. Depending on your plan, you can also pick contacts from your connected CRM.

  3. Choose email or SMS.

  4. Pick the Listing the review is about. This links the review to the property when it comes back, so AI replies can name the suburb and your website widget can show the address. See Linking a review to a listing.

  5. Review the message and send.

The recipient gets a link to your review page, where they can leave a review in a couple of taps. When realestate.com.au is connected, the page can offer both Google and realestate.com.au, so one request covers both.

Automatic follow-ups

On Reviews Plus, Properti can automatically follow up with people who haven't left a review yet. By default a follow-up goes out 3 days after the original request, with a maximum of 2 follow-ups per request. You can adjust this in Reviews settings.

Tips for better response rates

  • Ask soon after settlement or a great interaction, while the experience is fresh.

  • Send to one person at a time with their name on it rather than a bulk blast.

  • Keep the QR code handy at open homes and auctions.

Tracking your requests

The Requests view shows what you've sent, what's been opened and who has left a review, so you know who to follow up.

Which plans include requests

Review requests are part of the Reviews add-on and Reviews Plus. If Requests is locked in your Reviews menu, open Unlock features to add it. See What your plan includes in Reviews, and how to add more.
